Wild Secret Girl by Debra Bright
A horse is trying to get away but wrapped up with a long piece of cloth. That picture is a very strong image and dominant, because of the dark bacground the horse just wants to come out the frame. The light on his back shows all the muscles and gives the feeling the picture is moving.

I think the horse represents someone with a lot of problems, where someone or something always get on his/her way. The dark behind her, the rope makes her unable to see, and want to run but her feet tied up. The content of that picture is struggle. The path is dark.

I took the high contrast drawing and put the sollid blak drawing on top of it which gave that figure. It looks like there is a rythm.

The expression of this picture is very unique and clear. The light gives the value of this picture. Even there is no object to hit, but the rythm gives the expression he is ready to kick something.

Mr. Formal

I thought Mr. Formal was a little bit boring, so I put some color in the background by using the table. This assignement was to use white or black paper in these shape (square or circle) to give the definition of the word. That one defined "Formal". This is where the name Mr. Formal came from.

The Sun In My Hands

This picture is my favorite in this assignment. It's like the sun in my palms. The negative space gives this picture its form. When I used white as background, the shapes of the hands just came out without the negative space.
